Hello, & a warm welcome to Irish Gourmet Hampers. The division was set up early in 2003 in recognition of the distinctive Irish theme of our food hampers. Our business model was different to anything else which had gone before in the hamper industry. We were better quality, but brought with us substantially lower prices. We were the quintessential Gourmet Irish food company, but had the good fortune of being able to compete on a level playing field with the largest hamper companies of England and Scotland.

Due to the fact that Irish Gourmet was set up to compliment our main site, we were able to do things differently. The all year round aspect of our business allowed us to slash margins massively at Christmas time. We looked at the competition and made sure we offered the best value anywhere in the Ireland and the UK. Even if that value was not easily recognised by customers, we perservered and refused to compromise on quality!
