Food Gifts

We made the decision many years ago that when we are creating Christmas Hampers and Christmas Gift Baskets our main focus is going to be good quality food over alcohol and wine. There were many good thoughtful reasons for this decision. While wine is nice and good it is often unfortunately expensive by the time it gets to gifting stage, whereas food can be offered at a much more reasonable price. However, our decision was not fully financial. Not only can good quality food be enjoyed by all, but we have found that it is more often sought out in Christmas Hampers over wine and other alcoholic products.

Once we decided that we were going to focus on Christmas Food Hampers we then had to find the best food that we could. We are well placed here in Ireland. We have found ourselves spoilt for choice with small artisan producers with only the best gourmet products. We have sampled all of our food before they are approved for placement in any of our Hampers or Gift Baskets. This has always been one of the joys of the job!

We have dedicated many years to the creation of Gourmet Food Hampers filled with speciality Irish foods assured in provenance and quality. In this section we are pleased to showcase a range of Hampers of a distinctly Irish flavour, filled with delicious local produce sourced from around the island of Ireland. Almost two decades of experience have helped us to formulate relationships with a select choice of Artisan Food producers who provide us with the award winning food products that our customers have come to love.

Our Gourmet Christmas Hampers are offered across the whole range of prices that we offer, we have cheaper budget Christmas Gift Basket options and we also offer a number of very exclusive high end Luxury and Premium Christmas Hampers that you will struggle to find anywhere else.

With many other Christmas Hamper companies once you get to their most expensive Christmas Hamper ranges you will find that the focus will slip away from the food in the Christmas Hampers onto other products. We understand why, it is hard to create a Christmas Hamper at the high end that is fully focussed on food that doesn't loose focus and look confused or lost. All Our Christmas Hampers have a clear purpose and theme. A lot of Christmas Hamper companies make the mistake of keeping their food Christmas Hampers and Gift Baskets to the lower end of their price range only. While there should definitely be food gifts available at this price point, here at Irishgourmet we feel strongly that food Christmas Gifts should be available at all price points for all budgets.

Customer feedback is vitally important to us. We are always glad to hear when someone has enjoyed one of our Xmas Hampers. Every year we hear that we have exceeded our customers expectations. Maybe they have received Christmas Hampers from other companies before or this is their first Xmas purchasing such a gift but we always hear how overjoyed they are with our service. Not only with our ability to get our Christmas Hampers out to where they need to be but with the quality and presentation of the gifts when they arrive.

The reason for this is that we only use full sized products in our hampers. We know that it can be sometimes be tricky shopping online, especially at Christmas. Sometimes photography can be misleading and you never really know what your hamper will look like until it arrives. None of our Christmas Hampers have sample sized products in them. We do not see the point in filling a hamper or gift basket with sample sized products. It will only leave the recipient and the customer disappointed in the purchase. For this reason we only use full sized products in our gifts.

The most important thing to us is our customers. We want to be able to offer the best Gourmet Hampers and Gift Baskets to our customers.
